don’t waste your time w/ these types of gimmick books. most of the crap food in the book is processed – i dont care how many calories are in some chain restaurant meal anyways – it’s all garbage. i can’t think of anything more boring and tedious than trying to count calories – just don’t put garbage into your body and then you won’t have to worry about it.
I ordered this item back in early August and am still waiting for it. Since I’m a Type I diabetic, I really, really need this updated item. I’m thinking of cancelling the order. If the supplier doesn’t have the item, please don’t put it on Amazon like it is available. I’ve never waited this long for an Amazon order. Phooey on you.
The print is small – Am having a difficult time finding some categories. I am disappointed that the book does not list fiber content.
I have used tons of different calorie counting books. This is the one I keep buying. It is small, but it seems to have everything. It travels easily. I have one in my suitcase and one on my bookshelf.
This book is about as complete a calorie and nutrition book as I have ever been able to find. It even has information on foods from popular restaurants. It also contains name brand product calorie and nutrition information. It is small enough to carry in a pocket or purse. I had one before and when I lost it it didn’t take long for me to get another one. I would reccommend this calorie book for anyone wanting to lose weight. There is also an excercise and meal journal by the same company that helps you keep track of daily calories and excercise. It too can fit in a pocket or purse. Good for diabetics also.
