I have bought dried mangoes in the grocery stores and they are usually really dried out. This product remains moist and soft, easy to eat. I like to eat it for a snack or as a dessert it is so delicious. It remains soft and supple because it is packed in a resealable container. This is the third time I have purchased this product and each time it is the same: supple, soft, and delicious.
I get this brand & size from BJ’s for about half the price & no shipping. But I’ll have to buy 2 or 3 bags at a time or they dissapear. They are so good!!!
These are great tasting dried mangoes. They’re tender, don’t taste too sweet, and have a nice texture. They’re also very addictive. I would have given it 5 stars, but you have to watch out for the sugar content.
Although mangoes are naturally sweet, these have 32 grams of sugar per serving (or 640 grams per bag, considering there’s 20 servings per bag). That is 1.4 pounds of sugar per bag (including the natural sugar from mangoes), when the bag weighs less than 2 pounds.
If you can control your servings, get it. I have a hard time controlling mine since these mangoes are so good, but am able to do so. You can also get them from Costco (if you have membership) for around $14.
In my family, a bag of these won’t last 6 hours. They’re well made, not too sweet,just delicious. My aunt usually gets them from CostCo at a MUCH lower price than what I see on Amazon so shop around and buy wisely…but they are very very worth it.
