I would never have guessed I could get addicted to a green tea. This stuff is so good it got me completely off diet pop after 30 years of swilling mostly Diet Coke in vast quantities. I just wish Amazon would bring it back to Subscribe and Save. I was bummed when they eliminated it.
This tea is wonderful! “Temple of Heaven” green tea (a gunpowder style) is pretty darn hard to find anywhere else, and this one of the best I’ve tried.
It has a very full-bodied mouth-feel, and a warmish smokey flavor without being too bitter like other gunpowders often tend to be. Oh, and it’s whole-leaf too! (None of that powdered stuff here!!) It steeps equally well in the bag it comes in, or removed from the bag to brew loose to add to your favorite blend.
For an extra treat and a nutritional & mental boost, try brewing one bag of this with one bag of Wisdom Of The Ancients Yerba Mate Tea – 25 Bags. I can’t start my day without a mug of this combo.

As a devoted tea drinker, I would have to say that the quality and aesthetics of this product is without peer relative to anything in a bag and that it ranks very high amidst the roster of ANY teas I have ever taken.
I received a box of Numi Gunpowder Green Tea from a friend for my birthday. When I got sick, I decided to switch to green tea from coffee. I’m sorry now that I waited so long! Green tea works just as well to keep me awake and has fewer undesirable side effects (such as perspiration). I’ve switched!
I found this Numi Tea overpriced for it’s quality and taste.
