Eat Smart!
With over thousands of healthy eating trends available in the planet, there is not a chance in the world that one would pass up an opportunity to look like your favorite Hollywood actress in a jiffy, even if it means living in a diet of crackers, greens and water for months.
However, any diet plan is not complete in itself, because eating healthy starts in “eating smart”. It is not just a question on what you eat per se that gets you there, it’s how you eat that makes all the difference in your life, and your weighing scale.
Firstly, one should start by actually chewing your food, as your savor the mixtures of flavor that make up the entire cuisine. One should also avoid stressful thoughts while enjoying your favorite meal, as stress often causes problems in digestion such as heartburn or colitis. One should not eat when you’re driving or even working; try taking deep breaths before every meal to relax and give in to the joy of eating.
Aside from that, one of the most important factors in “eating smart” is by listening to your body. Are you really hungry? If so, eat slowly. Be sensitive with your body by eating to satisfy your hunger and not to stuff yourself with more food than you could actually manage. Eating just enough to fill your hunger keeps you relaxed and at your best. Eating too much will only leave you sleepy towards the day and too lazy to do anything else. Be smart. Eat smart.
