The presentation of the recipes could be better. There are no pictures, just recipe after recipe. For me, its a little mundane.
I bought this book because I needed to find other choices, especially preparing my own bread.
The book has a lot of recipes but they are complicated. To prepare a bread they referred to other preparations in different pages, and those preparations require several ingredients.
Another thing is that the book does not have any picture so that we can see how the results are going to be, and make us feel that we can eat delicious thing even gluten free.
There are dozens of reasons to buy this book (many of which are why I now own 2 myself and have purchased several for others) but the best one I can shout to the heavens?
I have pizza again.
Chewy, crusty, wonderful pizza. Yes, yes. The bread is great, the muffins are tasty, and the menu planning and such are lovely and helpful. But really what matters is the simple fact that I can once again have my Fridays as pizza night with my husband. Its a tiny thing, a little ritual for two newly married folks – but when it was gone, I missed it terribly.
Go. Order this book. Find Guar Gum. Make the mix, make the pizza, pop in a dvd, and snuggle with a loved one.
I’m a college student and spotted this book and thought it would be great. Having Celiacs, I find myself getting into just eating the same thing for a week at a time then switching. Thought this cookbook would help. Well, it does have a great recipes but you have to have a lot of ingredients and it’s still time tasking. A lot of the recipes are built around the author’s favorite gluten-free brands and I don’t have access to some of these. Don’t use it as much as I thought I would due to the amount of ingredients but the Mac & Chesse recipe is amazing. Great for thoes who have a lot of time and don’t mind having to buy lots of ingredients.
