I really like the idea of writing everything down, but once I got the book I realized the hassle of writing all the time. So, I developed an Excel spreadsheet that's just like the book and I use that instead - it's just easier since I'm ALWAYS near a computer.

I couldn't wait to get the book and wasn't the least bit disappointed when it arrived.

I believe that in theory, writing down every morsel is a great concept, but I find the actuality rather fiddley. I do try to jot things down, however, even if I don't calculate calories or carbs. In the long run, whether or not this makes a difference, I cannot say. However, in the short term, you may find your reach for more popcorn inhibited by the thought of having to transcribe the thing once it has been eaten. All in all, for me, this seems a better thing to consider giving to some reformed eater than to actually have to use.

Not enough room for exercise and working out. Mostly just for tracking what you eat. I was disappointed.
